Results of LYNPARZA: metastatic pancreatic cancer

FOR ADULTS WITH AN INHERITED BRCA MUTATION AND METASTATIC PANCREATIC CANCER WHOSE DISEASE HAS NOT PROGRESSED ON AT LEAST 16 WEEKS OF CHEMOTHERAPY

LYNPARZA may give you more time without your cancer getting worse

LYNPARZA was studied in 154 patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer with an inherited BRCA mutation whose disease did not progress on at least 16 weeks of first-line platinum-based chemotherapy. In this study, 92 patients took LYNPARZA 300 mg twice daily and 62 took placebo twice daily.

32 out of 92 adults with an inherited BRCA mutation did not have disease progression or death with LYNPARZA compared with 18 out of 62 adults with placebo.

LYNPARZA nearly doubled the median* time without cancer progressing or death compared to placebo

This study also looked at whether LYNPARZA lowered the risk of death, regardless of whether or not the cancer progressed. LYNPARZA was not shown to lower the risk of death compared with placebo.
