Talking to your doctor
Before your doctor can prescribe LYNPARZA, you should talk about whether LYNPARZA is right for you and the steps you need to take before you can go on this medication.
This conversation should take place as early after your diagnosis as possible, when you begin working out a treatment plan together.
Here are a few questions that can help guide your discussion
Genetic testing
- Why is getting a genetic test important?
- I’ve had a genetic test previously. Do I need to take another one?
- What kind of genetic tests are there and which would you recommend for me?
- Where and how can I get tested?
What is LYNPARZA
- Is a targeted therapy like LYNPARZA right for me?
- How is LYNPARZA different from chemotherapy?
- Will taking LYNPARZA reduce the risk of my cancer coming back?
- What should I expect when taking LYNPARZA?
